Heya! I hope you enjoyed the series about how to get practical advice from the Bible as I did writing it.
As you can tell, I’ve been moving away from personal finance towards spirituality in recent months. I still enjoy reading and talking about personal finance, but after 8 years of writing, there’s only so many ways you can spin the (pretty superficial) topic of money. Once you’ve set up a saving and investing system, the importance of money simply fades into the background, as it rightly should. Money should be an enabler for our lives, not the goal.
What is the goal then? As a Christian, I would say, “to get to Heaven”. If you’re an atheist, perhaps it’s to live a life of greatness – in the purest sense of the word. Either way, I’ve how important spirituality is to help us get there.
To grow stronger in my spirituality, I’ll be going through a 90-day program, culminating on Easter. As a part of that program, I’ll also be giving up writing this blog for the next 90 days. It’s a tough decision, but ultimately I need to purify my intentions for continuing to write and it’s hard to do that while I’m in the fray.
I’ll be removing the signup forms, but I’ll leave the rest of the blog up if you’d like to read my past posts.
Thanks for your patience and understanding. God bless!
