Happy midweek Wednesday! I’ll get right to it:
My new About page is up! I decided to reorganise what I write about on cheerfulegg into three categories, namely Personal Finance, Personal Capital, and Psychology. Let me know what you think of it 🙂
In other news, fellow personal finance blogger My 15 HWWÂ gave cheerfulegg a little mention in his tribute to local personal finance bloggers:
Not too hung up about anonymity like so many of us here, Lionel is a self-confessed personal finance geek who espouses automation and passive investing. He’s even written a couple of books on personal finance (one of them is even free!) and he writes really well.
His blog is a good resource for someone who is just starting out and maybe, someone who needs a kick up in his ass. I had been procrastinating on signing up for an EZ-Reload feature on my credit card and one of his posts became the ultimate catalyst to finally getting it done for both the Mrs and me.
Always nice to be appreciated 🙂
If you haven’t checked out My 15 HWW yet, you should totally do it. He’s relatively new on the personal finance blogosphere (been around only a year or so), but he’s already got a well-designed site filled with better writing than most other local PF blogs. Definitely someone to look out for!

Hi Lionel,
First of all, thanks for the mention!
I am a big fan of your articles and that’s an awesome new “About” page! Really enjoyed it and I guess new readers (likely to visit this page first before going through the archives) would now clearly know what to expect from your blog.
I think most young adults will benefit greatly from your sharing on those three broad categories. =)
Cheers,
15 HWW
